Titik Peluh

/ti'tiÊ” pÉ™'loÍžoh/

noun Malaysian

drops of sweat; metaphor for one's painstaking labour

"Habiskanlah semua nasi di pinggan kerana setiap bijinya merupakan hasil titik peluh petani."

Finish all of the rice on your plate because every single grain comes from a farmer's hard work.

Our Titik Peluh Series is a group of articles that follow the real life stories of farmers who are cultivating SRI productions in Malaysia. We report on the efforts of various actors and communities, tracking their progress on their SRI production.

The

VIP Seat

In The V.I.P Seat, we interview farmers, researchers and activitists who, individually and in their own creative ways, have given all they've got to produce safer and healthier foods, encourage community development and build up ecological resilience via agroecology.

Farming the Future

At SRI-Mas, we believe that the health of our nation is intricately linked to the well-being of our farming communities, for they are the ones tending our lands and feeding us. In Farming the Future, we showcase strong and innovative farming communities that are growing food for our future.

Strength

in Unity

The Informational Revolution has opened up new and productive opportunities for civil society to participate in social change. In Strength in Unity, we discover community-level efforts that seek to empower individuals with the principles of agroecology.
