SRI-Mas operates on Four Core Objectives : 

1. To provide farmers and consumers education, information, training and policy advice on agroecology-based practices

2. To represent the voices of Malaysian farmers and consumers on agroecology-related networks and platforms

3. To conduct research, product/service development and promotion

4. To conduct dialogue or forums to influence policy formulation

The Core Functions are carried out by 3 SRI-Mas Thematic Program Bureaus:

Bureau 1  : Agriculture & Organic Agriculture

Bureau 2 : Systems of Rice Intensification & Rice Systems

Bureau 3 : Empowerment & Innovation
