Tambatuon women are now well known to lead organic rice farming in Sabah, Malaysia. Following  a training on organic SRI rice farming on 29 July, 2018,  and with the encouragement of the head of SRI-Mas Farmer Empowerment Bureau head, Magret Darusin, a group of Tambatuon housewives decided to organize themselves into a farming group that will focus on planting and selling organic vegetables and herbs.
